Paintings with Oils, Watercolors and Acrylics

Painting is an exciting way to look at the world differently.

I see a potential painting everywhere I go - from the tiny flowers in our yard to the fjords in Norway. I’ve been fortunate to travel to many fascinating places in the world, but the endless beauty of the shores of Delaware also provides inspiration every day. I love the ocean – and the dunes and the skies. Painting is such fun.

I went to my first painting class when I was 24 and have been “hooked’ since. I enjoy using different mediums - everything from oil, watercolor, acrylic, pastel and pen and ink – to express my work and my emotional response to the subject. Sometimes I do the same painting in different styles until I’m satisfied with the results. The ocean and its surrounding area provide the perfect place to paint and experiment. I was fortunate to take classes from many talented artists including Charles Pitcher, Jess Hager, James Sulkowski, John Johns, Frank Webb, Phil Salvato, Bill Vrsak, Zoltan Szabo, and Charles Movalli. I’m still learning.
